our 2010 at a glance

2010 was a year filled with once in a life time opportunities, huge transitions, best friends, South Africa, Idaho and California, change, challenges, and lots and lots of fun.

We started 2010 living in Polokwane

Gregg worked for the Red Cross
and I worked for Seeff. Ohhhhh the fond memories

We went to the Soccer World Cup...

And my family came to visit!!!

Gregg attended his 10 year high school reunion

and we had countless 'weekends away' playing and taking advantage of the amazingly beautiful country we were living in.

I pet a lion...

started painting...
and worked for Melody- teaching yoga and dance.

We came to Idaho in July to see the Blue Angels

And took them horseback riding into the sunset!

Frank brought the Blue Angels to Idaho Falls in memory of Ben Becker- it was an incredibly awesome and special weekend.

Three days later, Gregg had an interview with TriState CareFlight... and landed a job in the USA!

In an absolutely whirlwind of 30 days, Gregg flew back to SA, wrapped up our lives, moved to the states and started training with his new company.

In mid October, we moved to Encinitas, CA

and Gregg started his new job in Yuma, AZ

I was hired by YogaFit!!

We were lucky enough to be introduced to a South African group of guys who have been playing touch rugby on the beaches of Del Mar for years...

And Gregg gets to go surfing on his days off

And 1 day before coming to Idaho for Christmas, I was hired as an yoga teacher at this lovely studio in Del Mar.

What an incredible year it has been! Pretty crazy to look over the pictures and spend a moment reliving it. Driving down the road in Polokwane and driving down the road in Southern California are two very different things, and it makes me smile to know we lived in both places in 2010. I think one thing is forsure is that we are getting good at adapting!

We look forward to what 2011 brings- thank you for being a part of our blog and keeping up with the Potters. xoxo
