Groundhog comes to San Diego!

I am loving my San Diego visitors! Kandi came down this past week to spend a few nights with me before she joined Tim for a wedding of one of Tim's Academy buddies. Kandi and I did the Encinitas sampler including mojitos at the Beach House (of course), a lovely sunset, two yoga classes that have Kandi's arms STILL sore, some shopping shopping, and drinks at a fancy 'shee shee' place in Del Mar.

Usually Kandi, J dogg and me all get together once a year for a girls weekend- so we were certainly missing J dogg this weekend.

While In Africa, I learned...

to never take for granted my freedom and safty
